If you suffer from tooth loss and are looking to fill the gaps in your smile, then dental implants could be for you. They’re the most natural-looking and cost-effective tooth replacement option on the market—they even reverse the adverse effects of missing teeth by stimulating healthy jawbone growth.
When you visit our St. Johns practice, Dr. Connelly will begin the treatment by surgically placing the implant fixture on your jawbone. This is a minor procedure that your body will adjust to in a few weeks.
Once your mouth is fully healed, you’ll return to our office so Dr. Connelly can set the porcelain crown, completing your implant. The crown is custom-designed to blend with the rest of your smile.
Dental implants are the healthiest option for restoring injured or missing teeth. If you’re missing more than one tooth, we recommend contacting Dr. Connelly about our customized dental implant solutions. For example, he may advise you to replace each gap with an implant.
Alternatively, if the missing teeth are adjacent to each other, Dr. Connelly might choose to use a partial bridge that’s held in place by a dental implant. For this procedure, he’ll use two or more dental implants to secure the manufactured prosthetic. Even though the implant process takes two office visits, your new porcelain crowns will be available right away thanks to our CEREC technology.
If you’ve been looking for a new smile that functions like your natural one, then Dr. Connelly can help. At St. Johns Dental Care, we offer a full-arch restoration with dental implants that provides stability and durability, unmatched by traditional dentures.
Dr. Connelly will use dental implants to help boost your confidence, esteem, and overall quality-of-life. Once he’s placed your permanent prosthetic, you’ll be happy to show it off in public.
