Tina, Office Manager
After graduating from Lansing Community College, Tina dedicated her dental career to St. Johns Dental Care. Starting as a Registered Dental Hygienist in 2004, Tina transitioned to management in 2021.
Tina and her husband enjoy traveling with their children, going to their cabin, fishing, and most outdoor activities. Tina loves helping both people and animals and focuses on making people smile. Her favorite places are the warm, sunny beaches along the oceanfront where she hopes to retire someday.

Jenna, Receptionist
Jenna has a passion for dentistry and enjoys making others smile. She began her dental career as a dental assistant in Lansing, Michigan. Being a lifelong resident of St. Johns, Jenna knew that’s where she wanted to work. In March of 2020, Jenna began working at St. Johns Dental Care. Her colleagues are her work family, and she enjoys the family vibe of the office.
Growing up in a large family, Jenna is a “big people person.” She connects easily with others, enjoys being around people, and makes them feel comfortable. Jenna provides a genuine, warm welcome to all of our patients.
Jenna and her husband, Dustin, have a beautiful daughter and two very fun-loving golden retrievers. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing volleyball, and staying active.

Sierra, Dental Assistant
Since October of 2019, Sierra has been a dedicated, compassionate dental assistant at St. Johns Dental Care. Seeing the transformation in a patient’s smile and watching the patient gain confidence in their appearance is rewarding for Sierra. She strives to ensure excellence in patient care and looks forward to meeting new patients at St. Johns Dental Care.

Ashlynn, Dental Assistant
Ashlynn joined St. Johns Dental Care as a dental assistant in
December of 2019. She graduated from Fowler High School in 2017
and soon thereafter began working at a dental office. From day one,
Ashlynn began building meaningful relationships with patients. She
creates a warm, welcoming environment that provides a sense of
comfort and calmness that is essential to each patient’s oral health
plan. She is honored to be a part of each patient’s dental experience,
making sure that patients have the best possible experiences at St.
Johns Dental Care.
Ashlynn enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dog,
Harleigh. Ashlynn is eager to continue caring for our established
patients and is excited to welcome new patients to St. Johns Dental
Care.

Jerilea, Dental Hygienist
Jerilea is a dedicated dental hygienist who began her dental field career shortly after graduating from high school. She assisted other dental care professionals for eight years. Jerilea returned to school to become a dental hygienist, and was warmly welcomed to St. Johns Dental Care in 2021.
Promoting oral health wellness for each patient is part of Jerilea’s passionate commitment to the field of dentistry. Providing dental care patients with exceptional quality care and making them comfortable at every visit are important to Jerilea. Working with her amazing coworkers and wonderful patients validates Jerilea’s choice to be a part of the dental health community.

Michaela, Dental Hygienist
Michaela is a registered dental hygienist currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene through Ferris State University. She graduated from Lansing Community College’s dental hygiene program in 2021 and has enjoyed working chairside ever since. Her passion for dental hygiene began as early as eighth grade, and she remained dedicated to pursuing her career. Michaela is particularly interested in patient education and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Her favorite aspect of being a dental hygienist is building personal connections with her patients and helping them feel confident about their oral health.
Outside of work, Michaela enjoys baking all things sourdough, bow hunting, working out, and spending time with her husband, Wyatt, as well as her friends and family.

Maya, Dental Assistant
Maya has been a DA for 6 years and an RDA for 19 years. She is from Alma, MI, and has one son in college and two dogs to keep her company. She loves to camp, kayak, garden and spend time with family and friends.
Her favorite thing about her job is educating people about their oral health and being able to help people achieve their goals for their teeth and smiles!

Adysen, Dental Hygienist
Adysen is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Lansing Community College in May 2024. She knew she wanted to pursue dental hygiene as early as seventh grade and never looked back! Adysen is passionate about patient education and loves building trusting, comfortable relationships with every patient she cares for.
Outside of dentistry, Adysen is an avid long-distance runner. She has completed three marathons so far — the Charlevoix Marathon in 2022 (where she qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2023), the Grand Rapids Marathon in 2024, and she’s set to run the Chicago Marathon this October and return to the Boston Marathon in April 2026. When she’s not running or working, Adysen enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Hunter, as they plan their wedding for September 19, 2026.

Amy – Chief of Staff
Amy has been an incredible addition to our team! While much of her work happens behind the scenes—managing human resources, payroll, and office operations—her true superpower is creating the most iconic spreadsheets that keep everything at St. Johns Dental Care running smoothly. As Dr. Capen’s mom, Amy wears many hats and supports the office in countless ways beyond her official role. Her dedication, organization, and heart make her an invaluable part of our team family.
